Warranty Policy

By purchasing any Yesrider products or other brand items sold by Yesrider, the customer agrees to the policies and procedures outlined below.

All new bikes sold by Yesrider are covered by the warranty against manufacture defects in materials and workmanship. Any warranty is extended to the original owner with the original purchase paperwork. The covered parts and components must be assessed and deemed to be defective and under warranty by Yesrider only.

Frame (Lifetime warranty):

  • Lifetime Warranty: Lifetime warranty on original ebike frame against manufacture defects in materials and workmanship.
  • The warranty covers a replacement frame only. Related labour costs are not included.
  • Yesrider reserves the right to use frames with cosmetic damages but are deemed to be safe to use by Yesrider, as a replacement frame under this warranty. On condition that the frame of certain model and certain color is out of stock, the defective frame may be replaced with a compatible frame of a different style and color.
  • The Lifetime frame warranty does not covered issues including, but not limited to,
    • damage caused by extreme riding, 
    • damage resulting from improper installation, improper maintenance of the bike,
    • damage caused by use of unauthorized parts,
    • physical damage,
    • corrosion,
    • paint fade, scratches and other damages that are cosmetic only,
    • any modification that alters the bike from its original design or its intended use.
       

      Battery & Charger (1 Year, up to 4000 km):

      • One Year Warranty (up to 4000km)One Year warranty on original Batteries and Chargers provided that they have been maintained as instructed by your vehicle hand-book and not subjected to freezing temperatures. For lithium batteries, the chargers must match the batteries. The warranty does not cover any damage resulting from the use of chargers of another brand or voltage.
      • Any defective batteries and chargers under warranty will be replaced or repaired. The warranty for replaced or repaired batteries and chargers will follow the original warranty time period.
      • The warranty covers the battery/charger only. Related labour costs are not included.
      • The warranty does not include damage caused by improper maintenance, misuse (including overcharge and overdischarge), normal wear and tear, physical damage and water damage.

       

      Motor (2 Years, up to 4000 km):

      • Two Tear Warranty (up to 4000km): Two Year warranty on original ebike motor against manufacture defects in materials and workmanship.
      • The warranty covers the motor only. Labour charges related are not covered.
      • The warranty does not cover any damage to the motor resulting from using a different controller, altering the original setting of the motor output, or any modification that alters the original design of the bike.
      • The warranty does not cover any damage resulting from improper installation, unauthorized service and improper testing.
      • Water damage and physical damage are not covered by this warranty.

       

      Other Parts & Components:

      • Comprehensive Warranty (up to 4000km)One year repair or part replacement is extended to the original owner on the original parts and components against manufacturer’s defect in workmanship and materials.
      • Certain conditions that may limit or completely void the warranty of your e-bike are: altering the ebike from its original design or its intended use, eg: pulling a trailer, as a delivery vehicle or any commercial use.

        What Is Not Covered:

        • The parts & components warranty does not cover normal wear and tear. Including, but not limited to, the following listed parts: brake pads, brake cables, brake cable tubes,brake calipers, brake disks, brake levers, hand grips, seat cushion, seat post, seat post clamp, handlebar post, fenders, headlight, taillight, horn, pedals, derailleur, crank, pedal arms, cassette, chain, derailleur protector, rims, tires, tubes, spokes, kickstand,
        • The parts & components warranty does not cover damages or defects that are cosmetic only.
        • The parts & component warranty does not cover damages or defects caused by improper installation, improper service, improper testing, lack of maintenance, abuse, misuse, any modification that alters the original design or the intended use of the bike, use of incompatible or unauthorized parts.
        • Damage incurred from water, road salt and other foreign debris or chemicals are not covered by the warranty.
        • Only the covered parts and components are cover by this warranty. Any related labour charges are not covered.

           

          How To Make A Claim:

          All warranty claims must be must through Yesrider and submitted to info@yesrider.com. Proofs of purchase and details of the damaged product (pictures or videos) are required in any warranty claim. 

          You may be required to ship the item and a copy of your purchase paperwork to Yesrider before receiving a replacement item. You are responsible for shipping to the designated address. Once the warranty claim is approved, we will arrange the shipping for the replacement/repaired parts and cover the return shipping to you unless expressed otherwise by Yesrider.

          Shipping address of any warranty parts or components has to match the address on the original purchase invoice, unless agreed by Yesrider in writing in case that the customer moves or changes the address.


          Shipping Damage:

            • Yesrider will not be held responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items due to any delivery services or courier actions. Please note the damage on the shipper’s Bill of Delivery prior to signing off on the shipment. Shipping damage is not covered by Yesrider if you choose your own shipping method or freight forwarder. The cost of shipping will not be covered under warranty unless Yesrider agrees in writing to cover the shipping cost.
            • The parts and components warranty above does not cover shipping damages. However, Yesrider will send you the replacement parts on condition that
              • you report any damage to us within 7 days of receiving the order with your order number, pictures/videos for any shipping damage and a photocopy of the shipper's Bill of Delivery.
              • you refuse the delivery and return the whole shipment in the original packaging when the damages are recognizable and severe upon delivery.
